Dec. 5, 2006 – Jason Hunt, an ecologist with Passarella & Associates, has been promoted to team leader, a position that includes supervising a project team and overseeing business development, client relations and document preparation. Passarella & Associates is Southwest Florida’s premier full-service ecological consulting firm.

Hunt, a graduate of East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania, joined Passarella & Associates as an environmental technician in 2002. His previous experience includes an internship with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island, where he conducted wildlife surveys, prepared refuge activity reports and coordinated data entry and analysis. He also has volunteered at Sanibel’s Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife.

Hunt is a member of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals and the Society of Wetland Scientists.

Passarella & Associates was founded in 1996 and has the largest staff of professional ecologists and environmental scientists in Southwest Florida.
