Aug. 24, 2007 - Ecologist Jonathan Bakken and Environmental Technician Laura Campbell have joined Passarella & Associates, Southwest Florida’s premier full-service ecological consulting firm. Bakken and Campbell provide ecological services for private developments, public initiatives and transportation projects. They perform state, federal and local wetland jurisdictional determinations, environmental construction inspections, environmental-impact and ecological assessments, listed species surveys and wetlands monitoring.

Bakken holds a bachelor’s degree in soil and land management from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. He previously worked as a soil survey technician for the United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service in Fairbanks, Alaska. He is a member of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals.

Campbell graduated from University of Hawaii with a bachelor’s degree in marine science. She previously worked as a biological assistant with the Marine Option Program and as a teaching assistant and scientific diver at the University of Hawaii. Campbell also is a member of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals.

Passarella & Associates was founded in 1996 and now has the largest staff of professional ecologists and environmental scientists in Southwest Florida.
