It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our colleague and friend, Dave Place. Dave passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2018.
Dave had a long and respected career in the GIS field, something he was very passionate about. He worked at WilsonMiller and Bonita Bay group prior to starting his own successful business GIS Solutions in 2009. In April 2018, he joined the Passarella & Associates family. While he was only with our firm for a short time, he was an extremely valued member of our staff and the Passarella & Associates family.
Dave enjoyed spending time with his wife Rose, taking walks and going to sporting events, comedy shows, and concerts. Dave’s love of Bruce Springsteen almost rivaled his passion for GIS!
Dave had a way of immediately making friends with everyone he met, and we will miss our friend dearly.
We extend our condolences to Rose and his family. Visitation for family and friends will take place on August 2, 2018 at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home from 3-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Harry Chapin Food Bank in memory of Dave.
